Sophie's Firsts

Sophie got a high chair and a baby pool! These are some pics of her sitting in her high chair for the first time and a pic of her getting out of the baby pool for the first as well. She loved both. She loves sitting up in her high chair like a big girl and she love splashing in the water in her baby pool. I think I'm going to invest in a plastic baby pool thats a tad bit bigger so I can actually kinda go in with her more.

Friends

So Manny and I went to a meeting on Wednesday to see if it would be at all possible for us to go through a yoga teacher certification program...Haha yea if we rich!!! So we were kind of bummed about it but on our way back from the yoga studio Carter and Sophie decided to have a screaming war. If one stopped screaming and crying the other one would start back up again and they would both be crying and screaming on the top of their lungs. I guess they were trying to teach us a lesson for waking them up from a nap. All Manny and I could do was laugh because we were driving and we couldn't get them to stop. Finally we got back to my house and were able to calm them down, THANK GOODNESS! They really seemed to have bonded that day even Carter decided to show how much he loves his friend Sophie. Manny and I thought this was soooo cute! We finally got Sophie's shelves up in her room as well, thanks to David!!!

Sophie's First Purse

First off HAPPY 6 MONTH BIRTHDAY SOPHIE! Thanks to Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Steve you got your first purse today. She absolutely loved it and all the little accessories like her keys,lipstick,money,mirror, and bracelet. It was pretty cute to see her looking into her mirror because she wasn't too sure on that little person in it haha. Something tells me this is just the beginning of her facination with purses and accessories :0

Last week before I got sick Sophie and I had a random photo session, she sure is interested in the camera. I love her big blue eyes! They are the best. She kept following the camera every way i moved it, I think she likes the spotlight on her. Uh oh!
Anyways yesterday was her first time ever trying peas! She keeps getting more intrigued and interested in the food I'm eating so I knew it was time for the veggies. She's beginning to become such the big girl.

Last Week...

Sophie and I were getting ready to go to the store and I was taking some pictures with my i phone and sophie made this crazy face! I call it the evil babay face haha she's too funny! Then when we got to the store my little evil one was pooped and fell asleep. Last week was also the first time she rolled over on her own! And the first time she got to actually wear her nike shoes that her aunt gave to her. So adorable!

First Easter Morning

Had a great Easter breakfast with my Mom,cousin Megan, and my little Sophie. My mom and I made some waffles and bacon and it was deeeliiisshh! Sophie had a good suprise this morning when she found out about the Easter bunny and the presents he brings good boys and girls, she was so adorable! Then later Sophie went to spend some time with her Daddy and his family, so of course she got another Easter basket full of goodies! What a lucky little girl!

Yesterday was Carter's 1st Birthday and he had an awesome birthday party. My mom Sophie and I went to take some pics of her for Easter and some of the three of us before Carter's party. I'll be posting some up shortly :) After we were done getting the pictures taken we ate some quick lunch at Mimi's and hurried back home where Sophie and I got ready to go Manny and David's house. We got there early to help setup the party and man oh man Sophie loves Carter! Before he even got home Carter's Grandpa held her up to a picture of Carter and she was so happy and big eyed,it was so adorable! When all the guests arrived we had a blast seeing all the other little kids and babies. Sophie was definitely the little social butterly and all the the little ones loved her.

Sophie sat in her big girl chair for the first time today. She was so suprised and thrilled to sit up like a big girl on her own. After 5 minutes or so she was done with it haha. She must have been tired of holding her head up. Too cute though and the dogs seemed to realize she's more of a little person now, they were pretty suprised as well.

My Baby is growing!

Yesterday was Sophie's 4 month check-up. She weighed 13 lbs. 10 ounces and is 24 1/2 inches long! Doctor said she was ready to start on some rice cereal so this morning we tried it out for the first time and sadly enough...She hated it! She just cried and cried till I gave her the bottle but we are going to try again tomorrow, hopefully she'll reconsider by then haha!

What a day!

Well today wasn't totally a horrible day but not only did I get an allergic reaction to something and had to go get some benadryll at the store, on my way out of the store parking lot my car was hit by another car backing out! Thank goodness I was okay and that Sophie was home but I can't say that about my car. The passenger side doors are kinda messed up and something on that side of the car fell off, not sure what it is or what I would call it. So tomorrow I'll have to call the other driver's insurance to get this straightened out so I can get my car fixed. On a happier note, Sophie fell in love with her stuffed animal raccoon that Grandma Dee got her for Valentines Day. So we spent awhile playing with her raccoon in her crib.

Finally Started the Blog!!!

Well I finally started the blog today after much slacking and promising to start it! So instead of starting from all the way back in November when Sophie was born till now I'm just gonna start posting pics starting today. Today Sophie and I just hung out at home and had a bummy PJ day but after having such a bummy day I gave little Sophie a bath. She loves her baths, she seems to think its hilarious when she's in her tub that she can splash mommy and get her all wet.
